Our Faculty and Staff

Adjunct Professor Davant is a Senior Litigation Associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Billing, Cochran, Lyles, Mauro & Ramsey, P.A.  She maintains an active civil trial practice handling legal matters in medical malpractice, general liability, premises liability, products liability and appeals.  Previously, she clerked for two years with the former Chief Judge, Mark E. Polen, of the Fourth District Court of Appeal. 

A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Adjunct Professor Davant also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Political Science with honors from the University of Rhode Island in 1998.  She is an active member of The Florida Bar and Broward County Bar Association. 

Adjunct Professor Davant has been recognized by her peers as a "Rising Star" in Florida Super Lawyers.
